Ingredients
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1–2 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced or grated
- 8 cups cold water
Optional:
Mint leaves, cucumber slices, honey or maple syrup, turmeric
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Ingredients
- Wash and slice the lemon
- Peel and slice or grate the ginger
Step 2: Infuse
- Add lemon and ginger to a pitcher
- Pour water and stir gently
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (best 4–6 hours)
Step 3: Serve
- Serve cold with ice
- Consume within 24 hours
