Lady Glues 40 Wooden Clothespins Around a Tuna Can — You Won’t Believe How Fast This Is Spreading!
Start by cleaning the tuna can thoroughly, removing any labels and adhesive residue.
Using a hot glue gun, apply a small amount of glue to the flat side of a clothespin.
Press the glued side of the clothespin against the side of the tuna can, making sure it is vertical and aligned with the rim of the can.
Continue gluing clothespins around the entire circumference of the tuna can. You should be able to fit about 40 clothespins.
Once all the clothespins are attached, allow the glue to dry completely.
Place a small potted plant or some faux greenery inside the can to complete the planter.

For a personalized touch, consider painting or staining the clothespins to match your décor. A whitewash finish creates a classic farmhouse look, while brighter colors can give it a more playful or eclectic style.
If vintage clothespins are not available, modern ones can also be used, although the appearance may differ slightly. You can also adapt this DIY for larger planters by using bigger cans and adjusting the number of clothespins accordingly.
Try experimenting with different plants or succulents to find what complements your space best.
